A folkie from Chicago has revigorated a legendary figure - Hoagy Carmichael, putting children's songs from the '50s on new musical arrangements and giving them fresh air. He used new or even unconventional musical instruments, youthful voices, and professional instrumentalists. Now, 3 or 4 generations can sing along at the same time: children, parents, and grandparents. You will, all, discover a song that you like, a tune that you recognize. Our "guys" from Chicago already do that on the project released by Company of Folk: Chicago Kids Play&Sing Hoagy -2020. It was a pleasure to discover the music historian Bucky Halker and, implicitly, his newest work. I recommend everyone to take a look at the article below for finding out more.
