Short poem

A dreamer with his broken wings
Misplaced in time, lost in a cloud
Has been kept tight, wrapped in a shroud
Imprisoning his hopes in strings

A slightly felt draft of stray faith
Floated and touched the angel's swoon
The promised land, close to the moon,
Embracing him as a dark wraith

The world is gone; a blind man, old
Gives him some riddles, alt paths to discern
He sunk into palsy, what is it to earn?
Welcoming new love if this heaven is cold.
